Ahoy Spindrift members.
I wanted to thank everyone for attending the social on Saturday. Due to the excellent weather we had almost 60 people a the feeding frenzy. Al Poole did an outstanding job of grilling about 80 chicken breasts on the new grill. As usual, everyone brought a outstanding side dish, including some great deer sausage.
I presented a new ship's bell to the club. The bell as donated by John Mayard. It will be located on the party barge. Make sure you take a look at it and give John a big thanks.
We are having a trivia contest involving Don Edwards. On the calendar Don has a birthday on a different day of every month. The first person who can put in writing with the current date why that is gets a gift certificate. Don't forget race day this Saturday May 2nd.
The sailing last weekend in the 32knots of wind was pretty entertaining for some of us.
