The "Drifter"

Ahoy Spindrift members. I hope that everyone has survived the
Holidays and the ice storm. Even though I was out of town, I heard
the boat show was quite the scene. I want to thank everyone who
helped out with the show. I hear that Redbud sold several new boats,
Way to go!
Now that the new year is upon us I am looking forward to a great year.
We are going to have lots of sailing events, so make sure your boat
is ready to go. We will have our racing schedule out very soon and a
list of events so that everyone can put things on their calendar.
I always hate to bring up unpleasant stuff but don't forget that your
yearly membership dues will be due. Thanks to everyone paying it
gives us the money to purchase food and pay for repairs.
We will be having a board meeting later this month to get this years
events up and running. If anyone has any specific they would like the
club to do please pass that information on to any board member.
For those brave souls that sailed this weekend it was good to see all
those boats out. The wind was good and the sun was out.
