Ahoy Spinddrift members,
For anyone who missed the May social, shame on you. We had some of the best pork loin ever. Rene and 2 of his students fixed a outstanding meal of pork loin, mashed potatoes and carrots and some delicious gravy. A big thanks to Rene and his students.
We had a board of director's meeting and we still have money in the bank. Our big cost is all the food we fix. So far we seem to be doing okay. At least
Don, our treasure, says we have money.
A few boats went out after the social and had a very nice raft-up in the cove just north of the marina.
A short notice to everyone. Toney and myself will be stepping down at the end of the year. We will be looking for someone to step up and take the reins as Commodore and Secretary. The salary will be increased about 100% for next year.
Don't forget the June social and the live band.
