Ahoy Spindrift members.
I guess it's a good thing that the social last Saturday was cancelled. I had my dog sled team in the shop for some upgrades and the work did not get done in time. The roads were a mess and Hwy 169 looked like a parking lot. We will schedule the social for a later time to be announced.
This Saturday, April 4th is a race day and a training day. Get up early and come to the lake! We will have food after the race.
It appears that someone may have taken our propeller from the committee boat. If anyone happens to find it please give it to a board member or to the marina.
The club has purchased 2 new grills for the cooks to do some fancy cooking. Your dues money at work.

Ahoy Spindrift members!
Just wanted everyone to know that we had a great turnout for the race training day at the lake. There were about 25 members present to learn about the new rules for the upcoming race series. We will be using flag starts this year, so you better take some notes and get ready. Out first race is this Saturday, March 21. We will be having food afterwards. We will also be having a training meeting at 11:00am and a skippers meeting at 12:00.
Don't forget that our first social is coming up on Saturday, March 28 at 6:00pm. The board of directors will be cooking some high class burgers and everyone needs to bring a covered dish. Hopefully the weather will be good so that we can hold the social outside at the pavillion.
Everyone needs to get ready for a great year of sailing and lots of fun stuff.
We now have about 80 members in the club! What a great way to start the year.
