I wanted to thank all the wonderful people for showing up and working
on the new party barge last Saturday. I counted 19 people who shared
their time and labor to put all the floor decking down on both sides
of the new party barge on L dock. Even with all those people working,
we had no problems and everything went very smooth.
I also want to thank Bedbud Marina for providing some outstanding
food. We managed to eat just about everything we could find.
Even with the cooler weather, everyone had a great time and a couple
of boats managed to make it out on the water.
Thanks again to everyone for all their help.

Ahoy Spindrift members. We had our first social last Saturday. I want to thank Bill and Susan Apker for the great Corned beef and cabbage. We also had some very good Soda bread from Sue Oates. It just shows that the Irish can cook more than potatoes. We had a good turnout and lots of good conservation. The social had to move inside turn to a breezy cold north wind. However, a great bonfire after the social made the evening quite the event. We had several new members present and everyone was glad to met them. Don't forget that we are having a work day next Saturday,March 29th. Starting time is 10:00am and there will be food after we get done. Also, on Sunday Mike Fawcett is having a rig tuning demo, so come out and pick up some good pointers. That starts at 2:00pm.
