Ahoy Spindrift members.
We had a great turnout for the October social with a chili cookoff and a costume party. About 55 people showed up and we had 12 different crock pots of chili that everyone had to vote on. We also had some wonderful costumes and it was difficult to pick a winner. I guess that the stars must have lined up perfectly for Emily Plunkett because she won both the chili and costume categories. Don't forget about the fun sail on October 31 and make sure to wear some good costumes for Halloween. Winter is coming, sail as much as you can on those nice days. Al Poole is trying to make a CD about our sailing this sumer. It might be ready by the November social.
